It is really important to have fun when you take your journey to Philadelphia, whether it be for business or pleasure and you must not be continuously thinking about what you should or should not be doing or lounging around unsure in your Philadelphia hotel. Instead, the tips below are meant simply as a guide, for you to take some points from and others to leave entirely.
Carrying maps around looking bewildered, and stopping to look at monuments or buildings, obviously shows that you are from another town and may attract the bad type of interest. So if you can, act a little more sure in your activities and if you are lost, be a good judge of people. For me, you can’t go too wrong with nice looking couples or more mature professionals. But still use caution.
Do not be too showy with your money when you have a lot of money on you regardless of which country and place you are in. Never take a big amount of cash from your pocket as it will just catch other people’s attention making your travel spree more dangerous and potentially having bad guys following you.
You also need to plan out the places you would like to visit and take the right amount of cash for it so that you will have something to use in instances when you get interested to buy something. It is also preferred if you bring a credit card with you to cover additional expenses rather than an large quantity of cash in case something unlucky happens.
Keep from accepting food or drinks given by a stranger. This will just put you in a state of great danger. The sweetest looking people may have hidden ulterior motives and the last thing you want is to end up drugged and unable to handle yourself.
Never bring your passport around with you and instead, keep it safe in your hotel. However, it’s a good idea to have a photocopy of it for inspection purposes. And also to have a scanned copy in your web email in case you need to reprint it.
